So, I’ve been crazy busy trying to make up for the past two months of neglecting school and thus have not had much time to spend searching for new tracks. However, I have posted below some tracks I found on my itunes list which I never got around to giving y’all.
Calling In Sick are an electro duo from Sydney, Australia. They’re just “trying to make people dance”…
A while back Conor posted their remix of Shitdisco – 72 Virgins
Here is another remix of Electric Feel, this time by the same guys who did one of the remixes of WOMANIZER posted yesterday. Dskotek is a well respected house DJ in the underground scene in LA. He’s been playing in clubs for over a year and that’s a picture of him above
I’ve dedicated numerous posts to my favorite childhood idol Ms. Spears, and this one is no exception. I’m not alone in asking the question: WHAT HAPPENED?
Well, lucky for us Britney fans and celebrity gossips alike, MuchMusic will be offering us the truth straight from Spears’ mouth in a 90-minute special documentary, Britney: For The Record. It airs exclusively in Canada this Sunday, the 30th at 10 pm.
Brit recently won for Best Album and Best Act at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards – a comeback most of us were certainly not expecting. This documentary “provides an honest and candid look at her life as she continues her courageous comeback. The documentary is the first place fans can watch Spears talk about the tumultuous past couple of years, her music career, and he hopes and aspirations for the future.”
Her new single WOMANIZER is very much like her previous poppy tunes…nothing too impressive though. I can’t say that I have fallen in love with any of the following remixes either, but I’m going to let you tell me what you think!
He’s been doing his thing for nearly 20 years….he’s had his ups and downs….his Bangers and flops…..he’s been number one on the charts but once infamously cleared the floor of Space in Ibiza…he evendid remixes for Britney Spears and Puff Daddy
But when he doesn’t piss off Europeanclubgoers Armand Van Helden fucking pleases everyone else
heres a couple new ones….If your thinking “my my my” and “NYC Beat” then these probably arent for you…But thats the point of this post…..This guy is so all over the place
not sure where the name comes from….But heres another far out there track by Mr Oizo and a nice edit by some local dude named JFK….
You know what really grinds my gears… All this flack Ed Bangers taking recently….Basically people saying the record labels dying because Justice was seen DJing with an unplugged MIDI controller and havent put out anything out in a while..To which I say who cares…the man Djing in that infamous picture is Mustache man who quite a few people already know is not the DJ of the french twosome….and he needs something to do while he’s up there….My understanding is that for their DJ sets the little dude Djs and Mustache man chills and I have no problem with that…and for there actual shows it would be almost all pre-programmed just like another french Duo by the name of Daft Punk…and you never see them getting any flak…..they are putting on a performance….if its good then base it on that and that alone
And Justice and those dudes need to tour its how you make your money these days with no record sales because of blogs like these…so dont hate that there not in the studio that much…theyll be back with ridiculous shit soon enough and then youll all be eating your hats and giving Ed Banger the brains they deserve
Sometimes we need to give our ears a break from the grinding fidget bass that has overrun the dance scene at the moment. That’s where fred falke comes in, a veteran french producer that creates his tracks partially with natural instruments, putting out sick dance, minus the loss of hearing.
So back again revamped and better than ever….SAINTWOODS TV Episode 3!!!
An Inside look at the best of Montreal nightlife, fashion, art, music, and more:
This episode features MSTRKRFT and Boys Noize at the NEON 9 yr Anniversary party, A night on the town at the Montreal Sex Show, and Tattooing @ Tattoo Lounge.
I love this track…. something so sick about the big clean sound…and the slutty lyrics….gets girls dancing and thinking bad thoughts…. For the club its a really dope cool down track to throw in between bangers
Venom and Damage are djs from North West London UK – and that is really all the info I’ve been able to find. Their sound uses hard bass, crunk, and has the favorable element of synthesized vocal imitations of all our favorite lyrics.
