American Eagle
As the saying goes if the shoe fits …wear it! These shoes at their different price points make fashion affordable for everyone.
Aldo out did themselves this season. It was all about the nude color and architecture (height and structure). These shoes are a must have!
Nude/Leather
Don’t sleep on Seychelles. They really brought it with the wedged platform in a black lacquer which makes me really excited to see what they have in store for fall.
Patent Black
Payless caught my eye with the designer collection by Alice + Olivia this shoe will make bold statements (and heads do that funny exorcist thing, lol).
Alice
Mens’ shoes by Payless are very trendy I am happy to say. Dexter has a plaid slip-on perfect for the casual fashion loving man. Their boat shoe by American Eagle is a hot find as well.
Flannel Slip On
So if the shoe fits, wear it. These shoes are all stylish, comfortable and most importantly not bank-breaking. It’s a recession, but why should your feet suffer? Happy shopping!

Since moving to Los Angeles, there has been a lot I have had to give up… weekends, fancy meals and free clothes. When I lived at home, my parents bought most of my clothes, but since moving, I have had to support my shopping habits all on my own. This has led me to rethink my buying strategies, when it comes to shopping for clothes. Especially since most of the stores are selling T-shirts for 125$ and shoes for 700$ and for someone who is supposed to be telling people about the trends a boy needs to look good.

Strategy #1: I don’t buy anything without doing research online. I will go on a brand or store’s website and compare items and PRICES, so I don’t get ripped off or feel like I missed out. Nothing is worse than overpaying for something. Also, look for online incentives like free shipping, extra percentages off or buy 3 get the 3rd half off type deals.
Strategy #2: I’ve learnt buying clothes is like making an investment. I don’t spend money on fashion or trendy items. For example, if your looking for a plaid shirt, check Urban Outfitters or find something European at H&M and Zara for half the cost of their brand name competitors. Rather, invest in multi-seasonal pieces like a black blazer, or a nice pair of dark denim. These are things that no matter what will complement any “in the moment” item. When thinking about any of these pieces, think back to basics- if it has any kind of design or fancy wash, it might appear dated in a year from now.
You will see that you will be able to be just as trendy without the cost of this week’s paycheck.

“We got that beat, that bump created by that Boys Noize”?!?!
I’m very confused by this track, but its a big enough deal that I felt like I had to post it up here for you guys to hear for yourself. And I did not mislabel this post, all those people are infact involved in this song.
I recently read an interview that Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas spent some time in Australia filming the new X-Men movie. During his time down under he hit up a bunch of electro/dance clubs and really got turned onto the sound. I generally don’t listen to Black Eyed Peas, but apparently there new album is going to encorporate Will.I.Am’s new found love for electro and dance music.
I’ve seen some remixes of this song on other blogs, but this one really caught my eye, due to the names attached. This is going to be a big hit or miss for you guys, I really can’t decide myself if I like this track. I personally like the Chew-Fu mix more, but it defenitely was cool hearing Boys Noize shouted out in a line.
What do you guys think of all these recent remixes of top-40 material? Gives You Hell, If You Seek Amy, Get On Your Boots, Let Love Rule, to name a few?

With North American wireless providers launching a new “SmartPhone” about as often as Blockbuster releases a new movie, students from all over are being exposed to dozens of low-cost options for full-featured messaging and personal organization, and better yet, a budget-friendly alternative to the mother of all devices: the BlackBerry.
While those that can afford – or can’t but spend anyway – a BlackBerry, the choice is a no-brainer. An all-in-one PDA, phone, web browser and messaging powerhouse that can often be picked up for as little as $50, Research In Motion (RIM, the creator of the popular Blackberry device lineup) has a dominating hold on the SmartPhone market in North America. The catch: even the least expensive offer from Canadian mobile provider Rogers, $15 a month, is an “on-top-of” plan that must be bundled with a voice plan. The $15 gets you unlimited email and instant messaging, but not text, picture, or video messaging – the most popular forms of instant communication on campus. For students that can’t afford a BlackBerry-specific data or messaging plan on top of their voice plan, there are heaps of options.

Low-cost SmartPhones offer the main benefits of any other, more expensive device: organizer for contacts and calendar, multimedia capabilities, messaging, and web browsing. None of these low-cost non-BlackBerry SmartPhones offer real “Push” email like a BlackBerry does, but most of them can access email with “Pull” functionality using POP or IMAP accounts. Aside from real-time email popping up on your device as soon as it arrives (without having to actively check for new mail – who has the thumb stamina to click “Send/Receive” that many times in a day, anyway?!) the only other downside to these devices is that they are not on the proprietary BlackBerry Messenger network. Instant Messaging on these devices requires a data plan and an account on a popular IM network, such as MSN, Yahoo!, or AIM. If budget is your main concern, these devices will still do the trick – very small amounts of data are required to benefit form web browsing, email, and IM on these phones.

I would check out the following devices if you’re looking for a low-cost SmartPhone with a full QWERTY keyboard (see your local shop for details and to make sure the device is available on your network): Samsung Propel; Samsung Gravity; Samsung Cleo; Samsung Jack; Samsung Ace; Samsung U740; LG Neon; LG Reveal; LG Voyager; LG Rumor; Nokia E75 (coming soon); Nokia E71; HTC Touch Dual.
