YOLANDA BE COOL – AFRONUTS (DOUSTER REMIX)

douster-dancehall

If I remember correctly, both Foamo and Brodinski dropped this tropical bomb this weekend. Douster (I sadly missed him at Igloofest), who may be most notable right now for his Lion King sampling track ‘King Of Africa’ has got a style all to his own. His remix of ‘Afronuts’ sounds like something out of a crazy Caribbean rave and definitely gets the crowd going wild.

Yolanda Be Cool – Afro Nuts (Douster Remix)

Designer Drugs @ SAT in Montreal (Saintwoods TV)

Debated posting this just because the video footage is poorly shot (our camera man got too wasted) but people have told me they found it entertaining just cause of how wasted everybody is. Enjoy!

More vids from our video production unit this week. woot woot.

NEW NROTB MIXTAPE

NROTB

One of my favourite combos out there NROTB dropped this mix a little while back and it is straight fire.  They are also releasing their Droplet EP this February with remixes by Auto-Erotique and Felix Cartel.  The original track has such a distinct lead in the form of the “droplet” synth that this is going to be crazy interesting to see how the remixes turn out.  Make sure to cop that when it comes out on Plant music.

JUSTICE: BEGINNING OF THE END PART 2

Ok so you guys heard the beginning of the end… I don’t really don’t think there is even room for debate — the drums are so bad you just know there is no way that it is Justice.    Listen to Planisphere and then tell me those same guys made this.

I’m %99 percent sure.

But it got me thinking about that track Stand On the Word that came out by the mysterious Keedz two years ago…. (forgive me if this already got figured out I didn’t notice)

Saintwoods.com Presents Kill Halloween Starring The Bloody Beetroots

Kill Halloween Starring The Bloody Beetroots in Montreal (Saintwoods TV)

We keeps it coming, as promised. This was definitely our most epic party to date, although I have a feeling we may top it in March when Calvin Harris and Laidback Luke…I’ve said too much. For this vid, we had a lot of great long shots from the night so you can really see what you missed or re-live that magical/totally evil affair. Had to start the vid with the extended intro of Warp 1977 just cause it was so crazy. Does anyone have footage from the back? I was standing back there with the lighting guy and it looked wayyy more intense.

PS This one is a must watch in HD because it was shot on the Cannon 5d. So follow the link and click the highest quality…almost as if you can reach into the screen and pull the image out.
PPS The track played for the extended intro with the quick cuts is a preview of Love Thy Brother’s new song which will drop soontime.

JUSTICE – BEGINNING OF THE END (?)

justice1

This track has been tearing up the blogosphere, and I was hesitant to post it because of rumors that it was in fact a fake. No official word has come out yet on the legitimacy of this track. We’ll keep you updated on any news about the track, but for now take a listen for yourself and discuss.
