WHy does this song remind me of a destiny childs track? And why do I still kind of like? Even the beat is kind of cheesy… sort of a bollywoodish bouncey video game electro dub thingy… But I like it… In the end it all comes together and thats all that matters. Katy B can do no wrong.
saintwoods writer and homie Armand along with his brother just directed and produced this dope video for Kreyshawn’s track Gucci Gucci which is literally blowing the fuck up across the whole internet. I like Kreayshawns style, kind of what Uffie was to electro for the swag movement….The white girl answer to Minaj even gives the reigning queen of over the top rap theatrics a little dig with her “Bitch you ain’t no Barbie / I see you work at Arby’s / No. 2, super-size / Hurry up, I’m starving.” Yikes.
While you might take issue with the lyrics and Kreayshawn herself depending on your tastes its hard to hate on that beat — dub meets swag pulled off perfectly by DJ Two Stacks

Quin has penned a letter attacking the lyrical content on Tyler, the Creator’s latest album, Goblin:
When will misogynistic and homophobic ranting and raving result in meaningful repercussions in the entertainment industry? When will they be treated with the same seriousness as racist and anti-Semitic offenses? While an artist who can barely get a sentence fragment out without using homophobic slurs is celebrated on the cover of every magazine, blog and newspaper, I’m disheartened that any self-respecting human being could stand in support with a message so vile.
As journalists and colleagues defend, excuse and congratulate ‘Tyler, the Creator,’ I find it impossible not to comment. In any other industry would I be expected to tolerate, overlook and find deeper meaning in this kid’s sickening rhetoric? Why should I care about this music or its “brilliance” when the message is so repulsive and irresponsible?

Ok for those who don’t understand the video. The crashing down of the monuments refers to returning back in time. Our civilization doesn’t just represents great monuments and the accomplishment in life. This wouldn’t even exist if there wasn’t the miracle of reproduction. The last standing buffalo refers to the cell (semen) which will bring life and initially started the whole civilization process. The statue of liberty coming out of the hole, emphasis this.
