My little brother Liam one half of LTB has been furiously working on a side project this year as the producer behind hip-hop group Ain’t No Love. Here is there first 6 part EP and there are some crazy tracks on it. This first EP is kind of a dubstep influenced album with tons of heavy hitting verses backed up by their incredible female vocalist Saidah Conrad… And she is fucking incredible.
I’ve also heard all of their new stuff which will probably come out in a few months… Less dubstep more orchestral and also amazing. I know Im biased but keep your eyes and ears out for them.
Here is the massive remix of save the world… Leave it to swedish house mafia to make massive crossover hits but its the guys down in the electronic gutter that always make the glossy anthems actually playable at the festivals.

I know Rusko has been rumored to have worked on tracks with Rihanna and T.I. and produced some optional material for Britney Spears’ album that I dont actually think ever made it to the cut but here’s the first bonafied big collab I’ve heard from the famous man from Leeds. I would say decent… Not bad but definitely not paving the way.
Feeling this track… Starts out dark and pulsating… almost tangerine wave length arpegio… then switches into Skrillex/deadmau5 glitch mode…. then morphs into an epic Deadmau5 Chorus and so on and so on…. The track has undergone a bunch of name changes all with words like Deadmau5 and Skrillex in them which has led to rumours that its not actually them and is the aforementioned dudes or perhaps even David Guetta‘s alter-ego.
I don’t know actually know either way and am too lazy to go find out but will say this…. it is pretty common practice to name your songsm especially while there a work in progressm from where you got your inspiration and in this case with such obvious influences that could easily be the case. And when you actually release a track with such obvious influences its not uncommon to allude to them in the song name so people know your acknowledging your sources of inspiration and not completely passing them off as your own.
This just dropped last weekend… Not sure that the vocals are doing much for the track. Still putting out consistenly good house music.

“Watch The Throne ” will officially be released on August 2. The highly anticipated collab between Kanye and Jay-Z is set to be epic. Jay-Z’s cooly confident swagger is the perfect antithesis to Kanye’s tortured genius… Ok that was laying it on thick but you get the point… Its going to be cool. The cover is made of metal? and designed by Riccardo Tisci, the Creative Director of Givenchy. Check the tracklist after the jump.

Diplo’s Mad Decent’s Block Party festival tour lineup just got announced with free, all-ages parties happening in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles this summer.
Heavy hitters include Major Lazer, Diplo, Gang Gang Dance, Das Racist, Death Grips, the Hood Internet, Lunice, Sinden, and Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio. The shows will also feature surprise guests, rides, and all that good stuff.
Big bad wolf just dropped… Obviously has a catchy weird hook but wouldn’t go so far as to say its as catchy (although more weird for sure) than barbra Streisand. Definitely a fun one to drop in the club or the festival… Nice bouncy big beat but outside of a rave can’t see it really popping off.. But others like my friends over at Earmilk are saying differently, claiming Radio status, so we’ll see.

Drake made a surprise appearance at Wrongbar to perform his verse on SBTRKT‘s hyped up Wildfire track…. I am tres jealous. Not really of being there but of the fact these goofie guys in tribal masks got such an ill hookhup.
I thought masks and removing vowels died with MSTKRFT?
