R&B is seeing a weird revival slash rework but some of hip-hops biggests stars and I’m starting to love it. But the dark twisted kind of Frank Ocean and Drake…. Not so much these cheesy grade eight dance numbers.

But if you are planning on wooing either 90s era moms or girls born in the late late 90s then this is the EP for you.

Partyrockers Mike (“Digits”) Gonek and Evan “Yo Ev” Norton are Torro Torro a the Toronto based production duo and Moombahton ambassadors for Canada. They have quickly achieved some of the top charting Moombahton releases in 2011, including their remixes of Turn Up The Volume, New Life, and most notably their Fall 2011 remix of Dillon Francis and Diplo’s “Que, Que.

Lately, these are the bass-ish tunes we’ve been into. Some old some new. (With the exception of our own remixes of course, leave it to us to shamelessly self promote). Most of these are really vocally driven, we do like the filthy grimey stuff, however, as of recent, we’re really into a more vocal dubstep as well as a ton of indie-esque songs.
As for us, we have a US/Canadian tour lined up for 2012. Going to spend the rest of the year playing one-offs and writing/releasing a bunch of new songs. Next one is due to drop within the next couple weeks.
