I’ve been meaning to do a post on this for a while, sorry about getting around to it so late, but you still have more than enough time to win this awesome contest. The Mystery Mix is the brainchild of Vancouver DJ/Producer and Dubsided A&R, DJ Neoteric. This mix was originally posted on Discobelle, but I got the okay from Neoteric himself, to throw this up on our blog.
The Mystery Mix is chocked full of amazing tunes, many of them unreleased or by unknown artists. So naturally, everyone who hears this mix will be hitting up google looking for a track list. The catch is that no tracklist exists! The Mystery Mix is a bit of an online scavenger hunt, complete with prizes courtesy of Mishka and Sony Ericsson. Hints have been dropped on various blogs, and on the twitter, myspace and facebook pages of various artists and labels.
To enter the contest, download the mix from the link above, and send your complete tracklisting to mysterymix@discobelle.net. The first fully correct answer will win a $100 gift certificate from Mishka NYC (one of my favorite clothing lines), as well as a brand new Sony Ericsson W995 cell phone. Like I said, I’m getting this post up a bit late, but according to Neoteric, people are still a bit far from solving the Mystery Mix. We might even be getting a Saintwoods.com exclusive hint, so stay tuned!
