Adam Freeland’s new project aptly titled Freeland is making some waves across the wide world of the internet… The video for Under Control has gone viral and the cast alone for the band is unbelievable

Tommy Lee of Motley Crue played drums, Alex Metric co-produced it, Twiggy Ramirez of Marilyn Manson plays bass. Joey Santiago of the Pixies and Tony Bevilacqua of Distillers/Spinerette play guitar. Plus there is a collaboration with Soundpool, Vocals from Brody Dalle (Distillers Spinerette) and Gerry from DEVO. Freeland’s new frontman Kurt Baumann also sings on four songs.

Does anyone remember the last incarnation of the Freeland band… the one that put together “Now and Them” back in 2003?  A couple of crazy chileans, some UK rappers, a pop Diva named Alison Davies and a  whole host of other characters that helped produce massive hits like “We want your Soul.”  I guess when you can get Tommy lee of Motley Crue and Pamela Anderson BJ fame on the team you just go for it, Chilean bonds of brotherhood be damned.
