You guys probably know we’re huge fans of Gucci Mane over here at Saintwoods.com. But its been kind of a long time since we dropped our old feature “The Gucci Report.” A lot has happened since then. Our favourite Atlanta Hooodlum just dropped an album — The State vs. Radric Davis — on December 8 and is arguably at the height of his career. Unfortunately manz couldn’t handle his probation and is headed back to the range (Which I assume he will deffinately run). Mad Decent is lending a hand to keep Gucci’s status on the block hot and is dropping the aptly named FREE GUCCI MIXTAPE….. They won”t say when but supposedly it’ll be here before the holidays
So make sure you go grab that as well as some Gucci/Mad Decent Merch and Gucci’s album and help one of the greatest thinkers of our time stack his hard earned paper
Check out this Diplo leak from the mixtape….. With some awesome sampling……Although I first thought it was “If you were here” by the Thompson Twins its actually from Mariah Carey’s “Can’t Let Go” a way back track from the 90s.

Hey guys, first let me say that I LOVE this new site layout, it looks very nice and is a welcome change from the old site.
I do however, have a problem with the way the articles are being posted now, typically when I come to this site and read your music blogs, I do not read the articles, I listen to the song. If I like the song, THEN Ill read the article; I just hope that not all future blog posts are going to require entering another page in the future!

The format for the main page is going to basically stay the same…. Just like always you will be able to see %90 of the tracks on the main page
Sometimes if it is a feature or a longer article on the main page we will cut off the post for appearence sake like we always have…. Right now we’re just doing some experimentation on formatting though so bear with us over the next week
@ Brendan & FCAdam for interviews and features in the interview section however it will always be cut off…. But we figure if your going into the interview and feature section you are planning to read the articles anyways and won’t mind the jump
But send anymore feedback our way in the comments section and we will deffinately take it into account

I agree, featured post is too big, it’s distracting. Downsizing it will make it more user friendly. P.S fucken ill site though.
Ill talk to the guys about it…. but here’s the thing…. I want my main column large….. And I want the slideshow….. There is going to be more and more content like interviews, features, and exclusives…. As we make the transition into a bit more of a magazine. And I don’t want the really important shit dissapearing down the feed the next day after we do 3 or four posts…. A blog post takes 20 minutes….. I just did an interview with Aoki and the whole process was maybe 6 hours of work….. So slideshow needs to fit the main column and if I make the length any smaller its going to look weird
This is how a lot of major sites do it…. But let me know if you guys have any ideass…. And it would also be really helpful to send me a link of a site that does what you have in mind
