Its not often that we dedicate entire posts on SW.com to dubstep, but Rusko is a man who transcends the genre, and is constantly breaking down barriers. I heard from some friends in LA, that the city was a buzz after his headlining set at Avalon this past weekend. I did some searching and dug up the above video from the beginning of his set which included his new track “Da Cali Anthem.” This show looks absolutely wild, and Rusko had the crowd right in the palm of his hand. As you can see in the video, the crowd was not just sweaty dubstep fanatics, but a diverse mixture of beautiful Californians losing their minds. This is one of those nights that will be talked about for quite some time, and it might just be remembered as the moment that Dubstep officially arrived on this continent. I might be getting ahead of myself though.

I hate dubstep (for the most part) but this shit looked insane! and there was actually hot girls in the crowd… pretty unusual for a dubstep party.

I saw this fool at nocturnal his set wasnt anywhere near this awesome. It was probabaly because he had some fuckin asshole running around, yelling dumbshit in the mic throughout his whole set. why do they do that? its annoying, nor cool.
