Today, I’m pleased to introduce a new feature here on Saintwoods that we’re going to call Submission Sundays. Each week, one of our writers will comb through our inbox for the best one or two submissions of the week, and put them up for your listening pleasure. Most of the time, these tracks will be from up-and-coming artists who aren’t necessarily hyped to death in the blogosphere yet. SO, check it out, and you may be catching the first sounds of a producer who’s just about to blow up.
For today’s submission, I’m going to post something that’s a bit off the beaten path, but definitely the most interesting submission this week. Switzerland’s Talen is two DJ’s and two producers who are making danceahall tracks with a big electro sound. ‘The Vibes’ is their lead collaboration with dancehall artist Sizzla. Personally, I think this track does a great job of melding the two sounds together, and it’s also sorta catchy.
