A few weeks ago I posted ‘Bangkok’ by Boris Dlugosch. ‘Bangkok’ is without a doubt one of the biggest tracks out right now and is being played by absolutely everyone in the electro world. The hype surrounding this song before its release was crazy! Although Boris has been producing music for years, he was almost unknown in the blogosphere. Luckily, we were able to get him to answer some questions for us and give us a better understanding of who Boris Dlugosch is and how his production has evolved over the past 20 years. He certainly hasn’t shied away from any questions and has given us some detailed insight into his djing style and the process of releasing a track like ‘Bangkok.’ Enjoy!

Until about 2 weeks ago I had never heard of Boris Dlugosch. This appears to be the case with the rest of the world as he seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Last week he released ‘Bangkok’ on Erol Alkan’s label Phantasy Sounds. Hype surrounding the track has grown to astronomical levels after it started being played at festivals in late summer. First I heard it was a new Afrojack track, then that it was the new Crookers track, etc, etc, etc. Alkan has been the biggest supporter of the track thus far and Busy P just dropped it in his Essential Mix. This is definitely going to contend for track of the year. Sadly, since it’s an official release, I can only up the track at 128 kbps, but if you like what you hear, buy it over at Beatport.
