Turbo has just released the second round of remixes for Tiga’s ‘What You Need’. It features remixes from Chromeo, Steve Aoki, and A-Trak. A-Trak’s made a great bass line driven groove and Aoki has put his signature ‘peak time’ club touch on it, but its Chromeo’s remix which is a bit more inspired. It’s almost more of a cover as Dave has put his own vocals in the track and its filled with the funky analog synths we’ve come to know and love from the Montreal duo.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking – not ANOTHER ‘Night by Night’ post.  I swear this is worth it, though.  Siriusmo does Chromeo‘s new tune up with class, splitting it between a mellowed-out intro (sort of reminiscent of the quieter Daft Punk songs) and a slow build into an all-out funky freakout.  My favourite of all the ‘Night by Night’ remixes.

Chromeo collaborated with Green Label Sound for their new single “Night by Night”.  The track is another funky disco and dance-pop sound coming from the Canadian duo.

I don’t know if you guys remember but last week I was praying for Chromeo to drop something on us… I even took the time to make a witty little overture to the kings of lounge chock full of Chromeo puns and all… Well our hometown boys must have heard me and decided to answer my prayers with this new signature sex-saturated  explosion with an almost epic vibe… if beautifully sleazy synth-pop can be called epic!

ANyways pop this in your 8-track, slide on down to the disco and get yourself a fine looking sugarbaby because the funk is back!!!

Mountain Dew  [Who have been consistently putting out fucking amazing music ever since the Floss Track with Christine Polachek, Big Bills] has been kind of hinting at it for a while but still I think it had something to do with it…. KUDOS to Steph “Paris” Berks for sending me the track… I completely forgot about it!  Very on the ball SPB!
